Simon facilitated his passion for building from a young age- he began his carpentry apprenticeship at just 15 years old, learned olde style post-and-beam construction during his years in Germany, and cultivated his love of building custom mountain homes in Asheville, NC. Since moving to the High Country in 2016 to build his family, and founding Appalachian Mountain Builders in 2021, Simon has enjoyed working with individuals and families to realize their dream mountain home through innovation, close attention to detail, transparency, and dedication to craftsmanship.

 

With a commitment to excellence that matches our high standards on the jobsite, Christy is an integral part of our team. She takes pride in working closely with clients to ensure that every step of the process is clear-cut and transparent. With her keen attention to detail and years of experience in the industry, Christy ensures that our office runs smoothly and efficiently.

 

Patrick is a valued member of our team, known for his friendly demeanor and dedication to his work. As a key material handler, he is often seen on job sites or around town in his work truck, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. In addition to his role with us, Patrick is a part-time EMT and is currently pursuing further education to become a paramedic. His strong work ethic and commitment to both his professional and educational goals make him an asset to our organization.

 

​Chelsea is a dedicated professional who plays an integral role in our team. As the first point of contact in our office, she is known for her friendly and welcoming demeanor. In addition to her work with us, Chelsea is pursuing a degree in Social Work, demonstrating her commitment to both personal and professional growth. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and her German Shepherd. Chelsea’s passion for the construction industry is evident in her appreciation for the finished product and the craftsmanship displayed in our homes.
